Unspoken, Yet Infinite
"Unspoken, Yet Infinite"
I stand where the light barely
reaches,
watching you from the quiet edges
of existence.
A breath away, yet worlds apart,
woven into the same story but
reading different pages.
I trace the echoes of your
laughter,
once a melody, now a memory,
softly fading into spaces where my
presence
is a whisper lost in the wind.
I do not cross thresholds
uninvited,
do not press where warmth has
cooled,
but still, my heart stands at the
doorway,
never knocking, never turning away.
There is love in distance,
a devotion that asks for nothing,
that lingers in the unseen corners,
content with the simple act of
being.
And though you may never look back,
never hear the silent poetry
written in my waiting,
know this—some loves do not vanish,
they simply learn to exist in the
quiet.
