“Blessings and Gratitude”
As the clock
struck midnight on January 1, I embarked on a year that would unfold and paint
a unique chapter of my journey with each month unveiling into a real-life-story
of blessings and challenges, a journey engraved in my heart forever.
It all commenced in January, my birth month, with a sincerest wish and prayer for an extraordinary milestone – to pass the 2022 Bar exam. Little did I know, this aspiration would set the tone for the incredible journey ahead.
February brought me into a
spotlight as I was interviewed by GMA for my Facebook post that they wanted to
feature in their show’s segment for Valentine story, a prelude to the remarkable
chapters awaiting.
March marked a bold step as I
resigned from my previous job, paving the way for new opportunities and growth
on the horizon.
April is a pivotal month
that would redefine my path. I embraced a new job on 11th of April,
and three days later, the universe responded to my January wish & prayer– I
passed the 2022 Bar Exam as announced on April 14, a date that will forever be
celebrated, marking the height of faith, hard work, determination and
perseverance.
May 2 witnessed the fulfillment
of my dream of becoming a lawyer– taking the oath and singing the Roll of Attorneys.
It was a moment of pride, a testament to resilience and dedication,
confirmation of God’s perfect timing and His unconditional love. My heart was filled
with gratitude.
I journeyed home to Bohol during the
month of June for a heartwarming thanksgiving, surrounded by the love
and support of my loved ones that fueled my aspirations.
The legal landscape expanded as I received Court’s Order to be Commissioned as a Notary Public on the 14th August, adding another accolade to my professional journey.
The month of October brought both joy
and sorrow. I traveled outside of the country for the 1st time,
exploring the wonders and beauty of Hongkong for one-great-whole-day. A step
towards stability as I became regular in my job also this month of October. On
the other, the heartbreaking loss of my father on October 22, a reminder of
life's intricate dance of highs and lows.
Amidst the ebb and flow, in November, a
new connection emerged. I met Clensha, a good friend from Korea, adding a touch
of international camaraderie to my life.
The year concludes with the warmth of
Christmas in December, celebrating with loved ones and cherishing the bonds
that weathered the storms of the past months.
I find myself immersed in a deep pool of
gratitude, a profound acknowledgment of the blessings, guidance, and protection
bestowed upon me by God this year 2023. Each step, each hurdle, and each
triumph were guided by an unseen hand, a force beyond my understanding. I am
overwhelmed by the countless moments where divine intervention shaped my
journey. From the quiet whispers of encouragement during moments of self-doubt
to the gentle nudges leading me toward unexpected opportunities, I recognize
the subtle yet powerful presence of our good Lord.
In moments of triumph, I felt the warmth
of His approval, a silent affirmation that I am on the right path. During
challenges, I found solace in the belief that a higher power was guiding me
through the storm. The protection granted was not just physical but extended to
the realm of the soul, shielding me from unseen adversities.
Every achievement, every lesson learned,
and every cherished connection is a testament to the divine grace that has
enveloped my life throughout the year. I am not just grateful for the blessings
received but also for the wisdom gained through challenges, the strength
cultivated in adversity, and the unwavering faith instilled in my heart.
To God, whose guidance shaped my
journey, and to every soul who supported me along the way – family, friends,
mentors, and well-wishers – thank you for being my pillars of strength.
As the curtain falls on 2023, my heart
resonates with gratitude. Gratitude for the path walked, the lessons learned,
and the unwavering presence of a guiding hand that illuminated my way.
May the coming year be an extension of
this divine journey, filled with continued blessings, profound guidance, and
the comforting embrace of divine protection.
As I stand on the face of a new year, I
eagerly anticipate what 2024 will unfold. With a heart full of gratitude and
faith, I welcome the unwritten chapters of the future.
