It all began on a fateful day last
November, where chance led us to each other's company. Instantly, there was a
spark, an unspoken connection that laid the foundation for a beautiful
friendship. Our conversations were like pieces of a puzzle coming together,
forming a picture of shared laughter and genuine understanding. As she said, “we
were separated but connected”.
As the days passed, Clensha's
presence became a cherished part of my everyday life. She, being five years my
senior, brought a wealth of wisdom and experience to our friendship. Her
kindness and caring nature, her soft heart and beautifully amazing soul created
a nurturing space where I felt not only heard but truly understood.
She returned to the Philippines on the
10th of December, and the days that followed were a symphony of
shared experiences and cultural exchanges. From exploring local cuisines, singing
at the Filipino KTV, to embracing traditions, we crafted memories that would be
etched in the canvas of our friendship.
However, the sands of time are
relentless, and the day came when Clensha had to return to Korea. Last night,
as she boarded the plane, there was a mix of emotions — the joy of the moments
we shared and the melancholy of parting (I was hardly holding my tears a she waved goodbye). Yet,
deep within, there was a conviction that our friendship would withstand the
test of distance.
The miles between us are just
numbers; they cannot measure the bond we've formed. The digital era allows us
to bridge the gap effortlessly. Our messages become virtual bridges connecting
our hearts across oceans, proving that friendship knows no boundaries.
As I sit here, reminiscing about
the laughter, the stories, and the warmth that Clensha brought into my life, I
find solace in the thought that this is not the end. It's a new chapter in our
story — a chapter where technology becomes the medium through which our
friendship thrives.
Though she may be physically
distant, Clensha remains close to my heart and in spirit. Our friendship is a testament to the
belief that connections are not confined by geographical limits. With every
text, email and chat, we are weaving a narrative of resilience, proving that
true friendships endure, even when oceans apart.
And so, here's to Clensha — not
just a friend but a guiding light, a source of warmth in the cold expanse of
distance. To the memories we've created, and to the many more waiting to
unfold. Here's to the laughter, the shared dreams, and the unwavering care she
