A friend, a very special one.

Whom I can only see mostly in my dreams.

A bliss, and a constant source of joy,

No matter the silence, no matter the distance.

 

A photograph, who brings smile to my face despite the pain,

Whose memories left behind are never put in vain.

A sunshine, to the seemingly darker days,

And a rain that suddenly breaks my stilly night.

 

You’re a crown, I carry on my head.

Waving to the world, I am grateful and proud.

You’re a cloud, I can look up so high,

Up above, in the wide & clear blue sky.

 

A friend, whom my affection remains,

An inspiration amidst covid-19.

Though I lost chance to convey how you mean to me,

Still a glee “coz you’re inside my heart every time I pray.
